Uranus

Uranus is archetypally an awakening force. It often correlates to sudden insights, brainstorms, innovations, unexpected changes, shocks, breakdowns and breakthroughs. These experiences often feel unsettling and trigger intense fear, but they can also be liberating and correlate to experiences of freedom to think and move in the world as never before. You may vacillate between these two poles as you absorb the impact of what transpires and are able to make meaning of it.

Uranus rules the process of individuation, which is the process of discovering and fully expressing the special uniqueness at the core of your nature. The archetypal force of Uranus breaks through unconscious layers of internal familial and societal conditioning and beliefs governing your behavior and life choices which you previously may have taken for granted as your truth. It is the catalyst to discovering your own authentic nature igniting questions about your beliefs and where they came from. It helps you work through conditioned fears and insecurities. Neptune

Making real the substantial force of divine love and compassion that courses through all existence, and allowing it to work through you

Neptune archetypally represents the most powerful force in all existence – Love. When most people talk about love they commonly associate it in a romantic sense with being “in love with” someone, or with emotional bonds between family and friends. This implies a belief that another person is required for love to be experienced and therefore when a feeling of love is experienced, they are projected upon and become identified as the source of love. 

The reason it is critical to pass through the Uranus stage of self-development before that of Neptune is so when you experience love, you can experience it in its pure form, without identifying with someone outside yourself as its source. Whereas Uranus teaches you to radically accept yourself as you are so you can feel free to express your uniqueness, Neptune paradoxically teaches you are connected to everyone and everything in creation as emanating from the same source – the greater whole of consciousness, which is the force of Love, the mysterious, animating source code for all existence. This awareness evokes a tremendous sense of connectedness and compassion towards other sentient beings. Without awakening through Uranus, you could lose your sense of self in the bliss of feeling at one with the great force of cosmic Love.

Pluto

Archetypally, Pluto is the force of transformation. Its alchemical process is metaphorically similar to how diamonds are formed from carbon through intense heat and pressure. Across your lifetime, the Pluto archetype correlates to the intense heat and pressure required to bring about a transmutation in your being. The more resistant to change you are, the greater the psycho-spiritual heat and pressure seem to build and manifest through all forms of crisis. 

Crisis is Pluto’s preferred method as the necessary vehicle for transformation. Yet the significant changes you undergo are not always big or loud enough for them to be evident right away. As the ruler of subatomic processes, Pluto correlates to innumerable micro-mutations where the most significant shifts are not readily perceptible, but enough of them over time will eventually feel like an earthquake transmuted the core of your inner most self.

With each micro-mutation, Pluto oversees the profound death and rebirth process within you. As you live through myriad cycles of life, a death occurs with every micro-mutation that then leads to a rebirth. A new seed idea is born each time that is truer to your soul nature. Change and personal growth always begin within. A growing realization or sudden insight can have a domino effect leading to making more conscious choices that allow those seeds to grow and flourish through significant life changes.

Pluto’s mission of reorientation leads to the emergence of your soul in this life.

Contrary to common belief that the soul is some vague thing that lives on after you die, your soul is a part of divine Love/Consciousness entrusted to you to “birth” in this reality as an agent of the greater whole. The plutonic process creates a new, expanded relationship between you as the individual unit of consciousness and the whole of galactic consciousness. You come to understand you are a co-participant in the evolution of consciousness itself. Every micro-mutation you undergo contributes to the evolution of the greater whole of consciousness.
